The Little Kanawha Reading Series provides a showcase for a diversity of literary forms and voices in order to acknowledge and enrich the cultural heritage of Appalachia and the communities around the Little Kanawha River.
Designed to promote literature in our community and bring literature to our community, the series is a collaboration between the Glenville State College Department of Language and Literature, Robert F. Kidd Library, and Gilmer Public Library.
The Reading Series receives additional support from The Pioneer Stage, West Virginia Writers, Inc., and the GSC Department of Fine Arts. Below is a short list of the videos produced by the LKRS:
