WE ARE PLANNING MORE COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS AND EVENTS AS WE MOVE INTO THE SPRING & SUMMER OF 2017.
Some of these will be conducted by the the Library alone, and several will  be in cooperation with other agencies and organizations here in Gilmer County.
Check back here and the EVENTS page to find out what is planned, what is happening and when it will be going on.

Gilmer Public Library's Folk Festival day was a resounding success with 130
Non-vendor guests in attendance throughout the day. We've received several calls from our vendors, performers, and party-goers about obtaining their spaces for next year.
Folk Festival committee members would love an ongoing partnership throughout
the year due to the success of the event. We even heard one of our younger
patrons say that they "I had no idea that Gilmer County was so cool" and that
we had "the coolest library ever".     Maybe I'm biased, but I agree.
