We have received confirmation that the funding for this program has been reinstated for our county.  There were only four other counties that were reinstated.

SUMMER READING & EDUCATION programs were so much fun.
They were well attended and enjoyed by all who came and
All who helped out.  Thanks Lisa, Dave, and our volunteers.

Want to see some pics?  Start here.
So much fun!  Had to leave it on the Home Page . . . . .
In case you have not heard . . . .
We recently upgraded our WIFI.  SHENTEL has installed a
State-of-the Art cable WIFI system dedicated to our Gilmer
Public Library.  It is completely separate from the State
Library Commission Internet system.

No more waiting to get connected, no more buffering
problems.  No more anything but crystal clear, lightning
fast connectivity.  Bring your Laptop in and give it a try.

Oh yes, Like all our books, tapes, DVD’s and think pads
for the kids, it is free.

It cost us a little extra, but you are worth it.

Who loves you, Gilmer County?
